I could use help on 2 projects this week and next:
1. As some of you may know, the Shorecrest Resource Fair is Thursday Oct. 2 from 12:45-2:15. I would love it if any of you could come and help me "man" the display board/booth. I think that I am much more approachable with a huge group of Teens already surrounding me. Also, my voice is always hoarse by the time I'm done talking/yelling for nearly 2 hours.
2. If you can't come, and even if you can, perhaps you could come and help me set up the display board. I realize that this is short notice but tomorrow night would be great to get started on it. Then we could finish up during the rest of the week.
What is the Shoreline Teen Advisory Board?
Find out more about STAB by reading this introductory letter, the primer and our mission statement. Then, if you want to join, fill out the background check, the online application and the parent/guardian signature form. (For a few suggestions on filling it out, take a look at this post.)

I have sent out the booklist for the Sept. 9 meeting (4-6). If you wanted one, and didn't get one, let me know and I'll send one out as soon as I can. At this point, other stuff we will be discussing at the meeting includes:
The Friends Booksale (Sept. 17-21),
Teen Read Month Programs,
Some time for questions with the KCLS employees,
And, as always, the Booklist.
I hope school is going well for all of you. It is going great for me since I graduated many years ago! AH HA! (Sorry).
Thanks again. See you Tuesday!
