The Library Song!
Carolyn, one of our STABies, wrote a song about the true greatness of libraries. Enjoy!
Here are the lyrics so you can sing along!
Turn off the TV
Head to your local library
Get up, don’t be lazy
There’s fun for you and me!
Travel back through time
Learn to be a mime
Let your mind explore
Keep coming back for more
Librarians are neat-o
Library’s there because of them
So lets appreciate
How they have really cool Zen
They’re there all day
And make you wanna stay
Let you live and learn
But help you tend a burn
Turn off the wii
And came and hang with me
You’ll find me at the
Library
So now the TV’s off
You heard me now you can’t scoff
Hang out and you’ll see
We’ll have fun at the library
*yeah*
